New Powerchair tray reaches Australia

[caption id=”attachment_1038” align=”alignleft” width=”300”] Carl Thompson, get in touch if you want to be one of the first owners of a Trabasack in Australia[/caption] We have a new site for Trabasack in Australia. We are very happy to have nabbed a top blogger and dynamo to work with us. The first box of stock has been sent to entrepreneur Carl Thompson who will be launching it in Australia for us. Triumphant after completing his Bachelor of Business Honours degree course, he is keen to hear from anyone interested in trabasack in Australia. A few review samples are available for Oz bloggers over there so do get in touch. We are are focusing on Trabasack’s use as a wheelchair tray at first, as we know this is where one of its greatest advantages comes, although of course any one can use a trabasack and it has been designed as an inclusive product for everyone.

New Wheelchair Tray site registered in Australia

Check out Carl’s new site at Wheelchair Tray it may look slightly familiar! [caption id=”attachment_1031” align=”alignright” width=”300”]Carl using Magic Mobility powerchair to go up some steps Carl Thompson using a Magic Mobility All terrain powerchair to go up some steps![/caption]The new site is hosted in Australia and we hope that a few web active peeps from the disability sector over there will link to it to help it appear in local searches. Maybe we should set up a links page on it and link to a few people first! If any one has friend has friends in Oz please let them know, the prices will reflect the lower costs in us sending a box of trabasacks at a time rather than posting single ones from the UK. Carl is also working with Magic Mobility an all terrain wheelchair company over there, so we hope that some of their customers may be interested.   The blog will be regularily updated and there will also be a trabasack.com.au  website for purchase coming soon. Anyone interested in purchasing now, can do so via paypal. Leave a comment on the new site and we will be in touch. Visit it here: Trabasack Australia

Trabasack as a car seat tray

Using a Trabasack Car Seat Tray

[caption id=”attachment_107” align=”alignleft” width=”200” caption=”A Trabasack car seat tray being put to good use!”][/caption]

There are many great uses for your Trabasack but have you considered using it as a car seat tray for your child when you’re out and about? It really is a great idea as you can keep your child both entertained and even fed and watered by simply strapping your Trabasack round their waist whilst they’re sat in their car seat.

Trabasack is even better than conventional car seat trays because it has its second fantastic function as a bag. This means you can pack up all the great snacks, books and toys for the journey and your child can pick and choose independently what they want to play with or what they want to snack on.

The Trabasack Car Seat Tray keeps toys in their place

To avoid the upset of a child losing their favourite toy, you can even secure it to the tray surface if you opt for the innovative Trabasack Curve Connect. The Connect surface allows for items to be secured to the car seat tray with Velcro hooks and then you won’t have to stop driving to pick up Mr Ted or whoever has inevitably fallen off your child’s lap.

One of the best features of the Trabasack car seat tray is its universality. It shouldn’t matter which car seat you have as the Trabasack is strapped around your child using its two long straps and rests comfortably on its bean bag cushion on their lap. It doesn’t need to be connected to the car seat itself at all so has no impact on the car seats functionality and safety and should work with all different types of seats.

Relieve the stress of travelling with a Trabasack car seat tray

[caption id=”attachment_108” align=”alignright” width=”300” caption=”An example of some toys on a Trabasack tray surface”][/caption]

Stopping and starting every five minutes to pass your child a drink or fetch their favourite toy can be extremely tiresome so if you give them the responsibility of looking after their own toys and snacks and an innovative Trabasack car seat tray and bag to keep them safe, you should have far less diversions and therefore much less stress!

Using a Trabasack car seat tray is a great way of keeping your child settled and your journey stress free.

The simple way to produce a sensory garden

The simple way to produce a sensory garden.

We have made a small scale area as a sensory garden for our oldest, Joe who has dravet syndrome. We have used windmills, a colorful flag from a jumble sale and a few banners flowing from the trees. We additionally added a little water fountain, a pump in a timber barrel produces a interesting bubbling sound for Joe.
